Understanding Your Metrics

Here’s what each metric means:
  • Targeted: Users selected by your audience filters at send time.
  • Sent: Delivery requests sent to push providers.
  • Failed: Requests that couldn’t be delivered. You can see grouped reasons like invalid tokens.
  • Delivered: Messages that reached devices (reported by the device).
  • Tapped: Users who opened the notification.
You can explore failure reasons in more detail from the console.

Delivery Funnel

Your campaign moves through these stages:
Targeted -> Sent -> Delivered -> Tapped
Metrics update in real time as events come in.

Time Range and Breakdowns

You can view metrics for different time periods:
  • The default time range goes from when you created the campaign to today, or to the configured end date.
  • Recurring campaigns show a daily breakdown so you can see how each day performed.
  • One-time campaigns show totals for the time range you choose.
