# Customer Responsibilities (Backup, Recovery, Availability)

**What Clix backs up**

* Aurora automated backups with point‑in‑time restore (≥7 days)
* Daily cross‑Region snapshot copy to us‑west‑2
* S3 Versioning on configuration/templates buckets

**What customers should back up**

* Any message content, exports, or analytics you need to retain long‑term
* Configuration you create via API/console (export before major changes)

**Availability**

* Build retries and idempotency when calling Clix APIs
* Understand upstream limits: APNs and FCM can throttle or fail independently
